The list of the wealthiest women in India is based on their net worth as on 30th September, 2020. The threshold for the ranking is INR 100 Crore.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra: HCL technologies

She recently became the chairperson of HCL Tech, after her father Shiv Nadar stepped down from the role in july this year. She is the wealthiest woman in India with a net worth of INR 54, 850 crore.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw: Biocon Ltd

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is the chairperson and managing director of a Bangalore based biopharmaceuticals enterprise named Biocon. She has been on the Forbes list of World’s ‘Self Made Women Billionaires’ and also on the TIME magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world. Ms Kiran is the recipient of Padma Shri(1989) and Padma Bhushan(2005) which are India’s one the highest civilian honours. She is one of the wealthiest women in India with a net worth of INR 36,600 crores.

An author and the chairperson of USV technologies, Leena Tewari, leads the pharma enterprise, that her grandfather had founded in 1961 in partnership with Revlon. She completed her Masters in Business Administration from The Boston University. Her estimated net worth is around INR 21,340 crores.

Nilima Motaparti, Divi’s Laboratories
